My first mentors were my two older brothers, Robert and Kevin. I learned to play and love the game by first watching them and using their equipment. The Spallina brothers were also mentors of mine. I remember watching Rocky Point High School games and then going to Brian's games at Hofstra University. I learned the sport from watching the boys game of lacrosse first. I also used to watch the IO sports clips on demand. I watched Gary Gait's intense shooting lessons and Jesse Hubbard's sneaky attack moves. From both playing and coaching soccer and lacrosse at different levels, I grew a love for both sports and a love for coaching. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and love for the game with others. Why not!!! It's something fun and new to become a part of. Gary Gait, Reh Brothers, Spallina Brothers, Powell Brothers, Kyle Harrison, Jen Adams... NCAA National Championship Final Fours. I participated in three of them and witnessed the men's tournaments four times. Playing in the games left me speechless, such an amazing feeling. Watching the crowds at the men's tournaments gave me chills! What a great experience for those guys, to play in big time stadiums! I see myself still coaching high school level and travel leagues, as well as many clinics and camps throughout the year. I hope to still be playing club as well in tournaments that I love being part of, like Lake Placid, Ocean City, Vail and Hawaii. Down the road I would like to go back to coaching a college team as well. Snowboarding, dancing, beach! Ireland, Europe, Disney, Vegas, or any island! Lady Gaga, Dwayne Wade or Adam Sandler Applebee's, Miller Ale House, Benihana, and ESPN Zone! Probably a monkey because I'm wild and crazy! My sister thinks I'd be like Dory, the regal tang fish from Finding Nemo because I have a bad short term memory! I love a variety of music... Jay Z, Kings of Leon, Katy Perry, Gavin DeGraw, Lady Gaga, Lady Antebellum, Rhianna, U2, Lil Wayne, Jonathan Peters... Fun, Crazy, and Spontaneous The man, the myth, the legend. The next best thing in lacrosse! Finish my masters degree by next Spring, becoming certified in Physical Education and Health. I hope to be teaching by Fall 2011. Also I'm going to keep working on getting better at my new passion, snowboarding and also will be learning to surf this summer!
